A Healthier Life Style...

This year for me is about feeling and living a healthy life. I promised my self also that I will lose weight this year.

Early this morning, I face my fear and stepped on weighing scale. They say that the best time to weigh yourself is on mornings, not sure why though. Teka muna! Baket ba ko Englishing?!

So I weigh my self habang kinakabahan because if I gained weight still, I'm gonna really jump off the window...So then, nag timbang me. Then poof! I almost shouted! I fucking lose ## kg amount of weight. That's great! Okay, it isn't really that much but for a person who have had problems losing weight that is really something. So I'm kinda proud of myself for starting to do this theng. First month of the year. CHECK!

Yung pag drag ko sa sarili kong mag jogging ng 5 Km everyday at pagkain ng nuduls ng lunch at skyflakes ng dinner (most of the time) are finally paying off. All the sweats, muscle pains are so worth it. If I will be consistent in doing this, on my sixth month hopefully, I'm gonna look good on my office attire abeit. I can't wait.

Ang pinaka challenge I guess for this journey ay ang aking beer belly. I got humungous hagrid-ish tummy and I'm not gonna deny that. Sabi nila sit-ups daw ang katapat or crunches but I'm to0 lazy to laydown and do the shit. I'm still trying to find ways na maeenjoy ko na activity for my tummy workout.

Sana lang maging consistent ako every step of the way. Pagod na pagod na kong maging mataba. Charot!

I'm also ready to sign-up on a gym class. I got my target weight to start off with a gym class membership. Handa narin akong mag buhat para naman mag ka porma ang aking mga manboobs at mala trosong biceps. bwahihihihi. Ayoko naman mag mukang bouncer, but I would like to think na I'm gonna do this not just to feel good and look good a little bit but for a healthier life style. You're right, this will be a loooooooooooooooooooooong road that I would have to take. I just hope I would lasts.

I think I'm doing a good start. First time ko yatang, magiging faithful sa new years reso ko ah. LOL

At this point in time, I'm thinking of other ways to do cardio, since mataba nga ako, ito 'yung pinaka kelangan kong pag tuunan ng pansin para mag bawas ng timbang. So far, I have badminton and swimming as an alternate on my running. Good thing, I have good badminton buddies so I get to really play hardcore para makasabay lang or else hindi nila ko isasali sa mga play off's. And playing badmindon is reall-really a good cardio workout and it's fun. Swimming is an endurance cardio work out plus upper body work out din. Ako na health buff! pero seriously, okay sya gawing everyday regime, medyo nakakatamad lang pumunta ng community center, effort much mag LRT pa ko. I do laps continously for one and half hour. Freestyle and breast stroke alternately. Hindi ko kayang mag freestyle ng isang buong oras. Mamatay me.

Regarding my food intake, well pinanganak talaga akong matakaw. Kaya nga elepante size eh. But since I started this road to fitness shit parang MEDYO na kokontrol ko na ang katakawan me. "Medyo" in a sense na kasi nga I still treat myself every Saturday for a classy food. Hindi naman porket nag nagpapapayat eh de-deprive ko na sarili ko kumain ng masarap at ienjoy ang buhay na makulay parang sinabawang gulay.

Fine! nag jujustify lang ako. LOL

Well, truth is, as I take this step everyday of living a healthtier life, it does feel good inside out. Alam mo 'yung kahit hindi ka naman talaga totally payat pero na bu-boost 'yung confidence mo ng konti, 'yung feeling mo ang pogi-pogi mo at wala kang tyan ahahhaha nadadagdagan tuloy ng move like a jagger ang aura. Charoughtz! Iba yung feel good aura sa kayabangan ha! Umayos ka.

lastly, to all those obese, fat ass people, endomorph like me na parating inaapi at niyuyurakan ang pagkatao, it's not too late to take a step in living a healthier life. If I was able to ignite the spirit and start this journey. You can do that too. sabay-sabay tayo mag balik alindog. Ganyan.

  1. This is nice Jepoy, I suggest changing your goal to fitness, instead of weight-loss so you can keep it going. Make it really a life-style instead of one thing deal and I'm sure it'll be more fulfilling.

  3. thats cool...you can be a vegan too,being one wont hurt though...there are a lot of foods for vegan people that are affordable yet delish dish...since youre on the other country you can try to look around and you will see that they are blessed with healthy foods...^^ hope you pursue that healthy living ok...

    sabi ng iba, wag daw mag crunches para mawala ang beer belly, instead kasi titigas yung tyan mo... so dapat mag shed daw muna ng pounds saka ka mag crunches and sit-ups.

    same as you, nagdiet din ako. no rice. ang hirap pero it paid off nung nakita kong i lose 6lbs. pounds lang yun ha ansaya ko na, wat more ang kilos. hehe

    way to go jepoy!
    btw, about sa tyan. nabasa ko there's no point na magsitups hanggang may taba pa sa katawan mo. toning lang kasi ang situps. wa epek yan for us na may fats pa. hehe so burn muna. =)
